Data+ Project Team Video

This past summer, I worked with a Data+ team of five fantastic students on a project to improve estimates of installed distributed solar energy resource, the 2015 Data+ program wrapped up last week.

Through this summer research project we generated a database of the latitude/longitude coordinates of over 18,000 solar panels from four cities in California. This will allow for unprecedented machine learning algorithm development for solar photovoltaic identification. This project resulted in a website describing the team and the work, a team poster, and this video of the experience, created by other Data+ students.
